Sounds strange that the stator fails twice!

There are very specific installation procedures for the stator/rotor.

The dealer needs a special tool that locks the rotor when tightening the nut.

And the tightening procedure is also quite detailed.

1) tighten the nut to 200LBF (seating)
2) remove
3) apply epoxy to the nut contact surface
4) tighten the nut to 300lbf
5) heat with a heat gun

It is spelled out in the service manual, but it might be worth your while to make sure the service tech knows the process.

well the first time it was done
at quaid in temecula. took two weeks and work order invoice reads:
ca0063.1am screw,hex/torx-flan 1
caoo63.1am screw,hex/torx-flan 2
cfoo18.1am o-ring,17,17x1,78F 1
q0092.1am ring ,sealing 1
r0008.1am gasket 1
y0442.2am stator assembly, 14v 520 1

most of the little parts were 1 or 2 dollars
but the stator assembly was 679.55
and the gasket was 13.00
lucky it was under warranty as it still is.

got a call this afternoon on the way home from Biggs hd buell san marcos.
"your bike should be done by 1 tomarrow afternoon". so stoked to ride and put on the new bar end mirrors and blinkers i got last weekend.

other than faulty install last time what could cause another stator failure with only 4500more miles ish.
im curious to see the new work order parts list.
any hoot cant wait to ride
