It seems that I have to let the engine warm up for at least 10 min. until the transmission shifts smoothly and or goes into neutral easily. Not saying that I can't, just difficult. Anyone else with this problem? My bike has approx. 1500 miles on it. It has been like this since new.

Yes, mine does it also. It's difficult to hit neutral prior to warming up. Nothing to worry about though.

same here, neutral plays friggin "hide and seek" or maybe TAG for a bit. Nothing as bad as chasing it on my Tuber, though...

Thats Normal. Wait till ya have issues with 4 to 5 and it goes into nuetral . It happens here and there . I noticed lately that my shifter lever stays down after I downshift and sometimes doesn't come back up at all. Go figure : (

Well I'll throw the anomaly into the mix. No such issues with my 08. I guess there is always one in the crowd.

Mine likes to find a false neutral between 5-6. Done it 3 times now. 1700 miles. 08 model. No problems finding neutral though.

Im pretty new to having a 1125 and I thought it was just me having a hard time getting into N. I found that I have to roll the bike forward or reverse while going between 1st and 2nd to hit neutral right away.

Bizzarre. Only 800mi. on my new 08(darn week+ rain) but I feel is best shifting machine I've EVER had. Thought Hondas' had nice shifting but maybe is all in da foot. If I am lazy in shifting my BLAST, well, I am glad it has a tough SPORTSTER based gearbox.... time to get ready & ride
