I have an XB that I am parting out and wonder what I may want to keep. I am looking for a list of stuff they share. What I know so far..... the tail section is the same.

Tail section, front wheel and front brake rotor, rear wheel, front fender, airbox cover, rider's saddle, passenger saddle, passenger seat cowl, gas cap, rear side-reflectors and brackets.

I THINK that about covers it.

Tail sections are not the same. They are similar design but are not interchangeable.

+1 to what Cc said.

Even the rear tail body work uses different mounting points IIRC.

No? I know the bottom part is different, but I'm pretty sure the top (colored) parts are the same?

I was told they had different part numbers. There are some differences, not a lot.

I thought the only difference is the key-lock is keyed 90 degrees off.

This is correct. The XB tail will bolt on with the same mounting points, with only a 90 degree rotated seat lock.

So the plastic tail section is mostly the same but, the Aluminum frame is different because of the way it bolts to the frame and what components are mounted back there and how they are mounted.

Made another discovery today. Not only was I wrong about the lower triples on the 1125r vs. xb... 1125 r lower is different from the cr. The cr has two holes machind into it where the r does not.
