went to one of the local dealers last saturday, just to take a few spins on new buells. first ride- 1125r. unbelievable- the smoothest , quietest ,strongest funnest bestest and Badest Buell i have ever ridden. next, i mount up on a xbs long. (it was a full Buell Demo day) great bike, felt very comfortable and familiar. finally was the xb12r. Now this was another comfortable, predictable machine. Any one of these bikes is light years ahead of my 00 cyclone , but that damned 1125r....just kept me up nights all week.But times are tough, and I dont NEED a new bike. My 00 has been paid of for years, owes me nothing. I dont NEED another bike. My m2 went 11,000 some odd miles needing only a battery and tires. Now she needs some tranny work, but thats another story. I dont NEED another bike. Musta told myself a thousand times "ya dont NEED another bike"


So I put a deposit on an 09 1125r last night , and filling out all paperwork later this morning. Dont need a new bike, just HAFTA HAVE an 1125r.

Yeah, I didn't even get the damn tire gauge with my bike. A 10-minute test ride and I was like some junkie trying to find a vein . . .
