oh, thanks Court this is very nice from you! I'll send you what you requested me from home, now i'm at work and I don't have all the dates. VIN stands for Vehicle identification number? is the one on the bike's frame? I'll send you a mail in few hours. Thank you! Ps: mine is a red september 1125CR with Rev B clutch cover. |

No hurry Fernando . . . the VIN is the Vehicle Identification Number that will be stamped on the motorcycle. It allows me, and the folks at Buell, to make sure we didn't make yours leak on purpose since it was going to Italy. It's a new world and solutions are just as easy to deliver in Italy as they are in Wisconsin. One of the best was when Giorgio called me last year and a Bueller was broken down while all the dealers were closed in Italy during August. I contacted an exec at HD, who sent an e-mail to Europe and within hours a dealer from Spain showed up and resolved the problem. Buell is an amazing company with amazing customers. Court |

Those CR pics at the top of the thread blow my mind! GREAT job. It demonstrates an incredible balance in form and function. How is it that only the Italians seem to excel at this????? This design rewards the eye and the owner. Most bikes don't crash. In the rare case you do crash fix them! But for the majority of riders should not be punished for the actions of a few. I don't want to drive a Volvo either. |

WAHHHHHHHHHHHH! That's Awesome!! I called my dealer yesterday in order to book the 1k miles service, and I told him about the leaking and he answered me to bring him the bike during this week for a control and then another time the 20 april for the service, because they don't have experience on the 1125's. But I HAVE to be sure the bike is in perfect conditions for the 1st may! I have to travel to sardegna for a 70+ Buell meeting...with this little help my friend, I'm sure I can! YES, WE CAN! |

Brapbrapbrap, as far as I know, there should be a big relocation of ECM on right side and the "coolant bottle" (sorry for that LOL) on the left side. It it works, it's good!! But I have to say I like my stock pods best!! |

kevin, who said "italians do it better"??? I think somebody who knows about us!!! LOL anyway, I must say that when Italians do something in regard of style and details, we do really excel. especially when it comes about engines: Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati as car producers. Ducati, MV Agusta, Aprilia (with its new RSV4, amazing machine!) as motorcycle's. and what palmer postes is not the first attempt of an Italian HD dealership to make those scoops prettier. also Numero 1 of Milan proposed a CR quite a while ago with smaller and more shaped scoops that I personally loved. this is the bike... very similar, but yet not the same.... |

In the last photo you can see the contrast from the factory pod to the cleaned up one. It looks like a before and after picture of a very successful breast augmentation. |

Georgehitch17, I don't have any other information about the last bike I posted. I found it on the XBORG forum of germany, and the only information about it says: "seen at Buell Köln", and on their website there aren't other informations. I find this fairing really awesome, so i'll inform you people if I'll have any further information! Ps: Don't know if it's only cool looking or if it also works in cooling the radiators.. |

Palmer, were you riding near Piazza Euclide this morning? I have a friend who thinks she may have seen a red 1125. edit - I'm assuming it was this morning, but it may have been sometime this past weekend. (Message edited by jlnance on April 14, 2009) |

HOLY CRAP Jlnance, the world seems to be very very little. I really can't explain to myself HOW do you have a friend in ROME in piazza euclide who saw me this morning at this precise moment in space&time. Really, this is something like a "Close Encounter of the Third Kind". Awesome. Anyway, YES I WAS. I was going to the dealer for my clutch leaking. Does your friend have a Buell? maybe we have a friend in common too. Or maybe you know a buell addicted I don't know! Ps: by the way, this thread seems to be amusing for a lot of guys over there. So, this is an Italian CR:

Does your friend have a Buell? The first bike she ever rode was an XB9S, but she has never owned one. She now owns a Vstrom and I think an old 'Guzzi. She says she used to know all the Buell owners in Rome. (Message edited by jlnance on April 14, 2009) |

oh is SHE! I think I don't know her. But maybe she's a beautiful blonde spy coming from east troy hiding herself riding a v-storm during the week and a old guzzi on the week end. She's compiling a list of all the Roman Buellers. And off course this is erik buell's plot to rule the biker's world. from now on, i 'll never sleep like yesterday, or maybe I 'll get killed by the beautiful spy coming from the west. Maybe she will give me some little love before.
