service manual quick reference chart calls for 117mm/4.61" from the top of the fork tube
instructions in chap 2 calls for 94mm/3.70"
HELP!!
replacing a leaky lower seal. also, it calls for HD type E oil. what weight is that? i'm a BelRay man.

117mm/4.61" is the correct level per Service Bulletin BO90

HD Type E = Fork Oil 10wt (Type E™)
HD Type B = Fork Oil 15wt (Type B™)
HD Type H/D = Fork Oil 20wt (Type H/D™)
