Not so Fast Hotshots!

Brad wrote to Laminar:
Seems like a natural, you and it. I love the bike and would buy it, but
the contingency would be your involvement. ITS AN EASY ONE how do we get started?
Brad

Laminar Response:

Hello Brad,

We'd love to make a product for it, however, we need someone local to us (with that model) to donate a few hours for us to figure what will fit and work. Would you be that person? We're in Santa Ana, CA...

Safe and pleasant rides,
Leo

From Brad to BadWeb:
I could not live further away and still be on the same Continent. Anyone close by?

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

My lord the front end of the 1125 Fairing is up so high already if you add a lip it will look like a Harley Police Bike or a Buick.

Not the "R"! The subject of this thread is the "CR."

Maybe you can suggest that the folks from Laminar stop by and check the CR out there?

Glad to see the interest in what could be a very cool addition to the 1125CR, adding a little extra wind protection while keeping the cafe racer look and feel. Check their web site.
I would hope it would look something like the one on the Speed Triple or the XB12S or search on this board to check it out.
We went through the same process to get it done for the XB12SS.

It's cool that they are willing to do it. But if it is going to happen someone is going to have to bite the Bullitt and drive their 1125CR over there and let them mock it up at factory with the bike there.
I live in Florida- Can't do it. If you can help out contact Leo At Laminar to arrainge the hook up.
Be the first on your block to Hook Up your CR!!
