Done, title corrected. Changed to "Danny Eslick's Bruce Rossmeyer’s Daytona Racing/RMR Buell 1125R."

Actually Nickdagger , those tires were "Rollers" .
They are used just to get the bike out to the Pit lane. The race tires , whether they are slicks or rains are on tire warmers in racks over the wall.
We asked the same question when we saw those.

To clarify: The Bruce Rossmeyer/RMR/Geico Buell Team is not a "Factory" team nor is the machine a "Factory" bike. It is VERY misleading to characterize the team and the bike as such.

Blake . . good call! The folks at Buell sure have their heart in this but seeing as they have less than my mortgage payment in the program it'd sure be a leap to term it a "factory" (like the fleets of motorhomes and transporters they pit next to) team.

The coolest part about the bike is that the motors (and I presume eventually folks will come to believe this) are basicly BONE STOCK.

I found out from a buddy of mine who works for another well known race team that I was about 3 miles from this bike this weekend! I was in northern AL visiting his shop, and he said "yeah, that bike is just up the street at 'the shop'. He wouldn't tell me exactly were it was. Hush, hush super secret stuff I guess with these race teams. Don't want the locals hanging out stealing secrets I guess.

The engine case covers (right and left sides) are made by Taylor Made in Van Nuys, CA.

They fit perfect and have been put to the test.
