Well, I've decide on the Next Big Thing for me... Data Logging, and using that to tune my bike. ECM spy, Tuning software, and some mechanism to do capture of data using wideband O2 sensors. Probably going to leave the existing ones in place, and add bungs for a second set.

Am I correct that you can't just plug in mo' better O2's and still have the stock system work as engineered?

Would one have to run two sets of sensors to get the optimal data?

Forgive the Ignorance, but I've got to start somewhere. I will understand this and be fluent in the "language" before it's all over. I just found a new hobby!

Rob, look for XB9 and xoptiinsidersx on this board. These two guys run a couple of great websites for tuning the Buell's. Also, check out Buelletinboard.com. Great resource for everything Buell including tuning.

Ride safe,

Frank

I am not sure on this bike, as my ECM knowledge is limited with Buells. However, in my Silverado SS I tune it with EFI Live, and run wide band O2s in it, all the time. The ECM doesn't know the difference because I have a very small black box that translates the data back to the factory ECM as a normal O2 would, when I plug in my EFI Live system though, I get real time, wideband O2 updates for tuning. You might be able to have the same setup, but again, I am not sure if about the data caps/rates for the 1125r ECM.
