Yeah garbage bags are best. Fabric spray would help but unless the seams and zippers are sealed, you will still have leaks.

I actually use the heavier mil contractor bags for extra protection when on long trips, and pack a few additional spare bags "just in case". They've come in handy on several occasions...

Yeah the V35 are around $500 but you have to modify/ make your own brackets.

Just ordered the Nelson Riggs expandable Tail bag.($107.00 Motorcycle Superstore.) Not a fan of tank bags.

Tank bags are probably the BEST place to put things (think: "Mass Centralization"). On the other hand, you have to think of what your tender parts will slam into in the event of an accident.

It's all compromise.

i smash my "boys" atleast once every ride allready when i hit a good bump. lol i dont wanna have to worry any more about that kinda issue

When your putting a bag on your gonna loose some performance, your not going to the track like that, but I'd rather be able to still tuck.
