We just got my 08 1125R off of the dyno. We did two baseline runs and it averaged 126 HP. This was a stock 1125R with less than 700 miles on it. Did some "tweaking" and the last run was 133 HP. I thought this was pretty impressive for not adding any hardware, just adding a little fuel and disabling the O2 sensor and programming out the "learning mode". I hope I am stating everything correctly, XB9 was working on this and he would be able to answer "technical" questions. From what XB9 told me was that there was more power available if we did some fine tuning.

Thanks XB9! I can't wait to get my bike on the track, hopefully I will be getting the paint on my fairing, soon!

Four parameter changes=7hp, not touching the maps.
Just roughing it in. That's the easiest hp I have ever found Thanks teach for letting me test some things on your bike

Sly, you should have been there and seen Teach after we 'tuned' his bike. Mark and I set the rev limiter to 4000 rpm to play a little trick on him. He was in his office while we were working on it, and I told him to come on in to the dyno room and rev his bike up to see what he thought. So he revs it up and the thing is bouncing off the limiter at 4 grand and he's looking at me like 'what the...what did you do to this thing?'

It was priceless...lol

XB9 -

You and Mark got me pretty good on that one. I am sooo gullible.
How did you ever keep a straight face on that one!! I was trying to figure out how I was twisting the throttle wrong to get that breakup at 4500.

Sly -

We are setting up the plans for the event and it has some very exciting possibilities. I don't want to give up too much info before everything is finalized, but maybe... Buell factory presenters....very successful road racing team (Harley engineers who race a Firebolt, Number 1 plate in their class).....dyno tuning (see above postings on this thread) a short poker run...drawings....sales....Buell track day (not on the 9th, but close..)

It is going to be a Buell Blowout and for those of you that attended our first one, this one will be twice the fun!!!

You have to realize that the Powercommander system is pretty simple as compared to your ECMSpy system (I'm assuming that's what you're talking about)

You will have to train your dyno operator in how to operate and program with your module and software. If they haven't done ECM Spy and haven't seen HOW the module functions, you're in for some pretty expensive dyno time - unless you can get your dyno operator interested in all the "FUTURE" Buell business he might get.

Face it - YOU have to be the expert if the dyno dude hasn't seen one of the modules before.

Good point Slaughter i will have to do some tinkering with it and see if i can talk one of the local guys into dyno time.

Talk to XB9. His software is used in conjunction with ECM Spy and it isn't that difficult to use. He also knows so much about the mapping, etc. Since he tuned mine he has discovered that more h.p. is out there. I have met him many times and he is very knowledgeable. He knows his stuff.
