Both tires changed & balanced = $50 (Not @ the dealer)

Otherwise, I've paid for the parts and done the work myself so far.

Tires off the bike.

If you have a lift/stands, they'll pay for themselves on the tire changes IMO.

If I buy the tires there (Cycle Rider, Pomona, Ca.), no cost for mount and balance. If I bring in the tires and wheels.

Normal maintenance, parts cost only...do my own work. Except forks and shocks.

Do you pay list price for the tires? I am assuming that you mean you bring the wheels in off of the bike.

12K service on 1125R $640 (including replacing front brake pads, but I brought my own pads)

They did a stellar job and well worth the price!

Cyclegear is free for balance.

Mounting AND balance is free at Willow Springs.

I do my own work: FREE (not including parts or beer)

First service 1,000 km, 7 days after the bike's delivery. Took 3+ hours (I waited). Cost was ~A$275, received no indication that the dealer (Harley City) did any more than change the oil & filter (per the invoice) and wash it (because I sighted) and took it for a test ride (they advised orally).

Anonymous often means BMC... perhaps Buell is conducting some informal research... can't hurt to help out.

Local HD dealer charges $50/wheel of the bike.

Local sport bike shop charges $25/ wheel off the bike. Free if tires purchased form them.

My HD/Buell dealer charges $100/hr. Just to put on my front tire after I bent the rim on a pothole was $100. The first service cost me $307 before tax, plus an extra $50 to adjust the suspension. Since then I have done the oil changes myself. I need to get my tire replace soon and they are saying that it will cost me 1hr of labor for the front and 1 1/2hr for the rear, so to get both tires replaced there will cost me $250, just in labor costs. I looked at another place and was quoted $75 for the back. If anyone is on Long Island and knows of a better place to get the tires replaced, let me know. I already have the back tire. Anyway those are the prices so far. I am dreading the 12000 mile maintenance. I think I will have to sell some blood or other bodily fluids to afford it.
