I told them about the stator problems and the instrument cluster problems. All they could say was they changed the batterty thats all they could do.

BS! There are tests they can perform on those components to ensure they are operating correctly. Be gentle, but firm, and insist that they call BMC to resolve this issue...

It's just too bad that it seems they're the only location near you that does anything with Buell.

That's not bad news at all... Sounds like they took the time to work with BMC and found the problem.

I hope you get the new IC with the gear and voltage indicators!

I know exactly how you feel... My bike had been in the shop for about a month during very nice weather for battery troubleshooting and some maintenance issues (basically they didn't stock parts needed).

Then my bike was again in the shop for 3 months for crash repair; but that was my fault... Still agonizing though. I made up for it by taking 2 road trips for a total of 3,590 miles after getting the bike back.

I just got my bike back after 5 weeks for an AT sensor and IC replacement, it took 2 1/2 weeks for my IC to arrive!

And we've been having freakishly nice weather the last couple weeks.

All good now, though.
