Brakes seem to be the biggest issue on the 1125R and I am trying any I can get my hands on. I do not ride on the road this is in hard track use only. I have been using Mallala raceway (http://mallala.com ) South Australia as my benchmark as it is the hardest braking track in Australia. (and I am not small)
So far....Buell Race pads 1 full meeting they work brilliantly great feel , bite and stop. But at $180 US + freight......
Standard pads 8 laps = 1 mm of wear + they need to be pulled out and deglazed, so they are good for about 20 something laps.
SBS HH sintered street $75 US(they are all I have got my hands on, if anyone knows where I can get some race compound please let me know) Bedded in yesterday, we are off to the track now for race day..........they are the only pads I have left so it could be a very short day..

I have some EBC Extreme Pro's coming next week,
anyone got any other types to try?

Steve 1 have 13700k's on the front pads including 2 track days at Symonds (105 laps) front just over half worn, rotor has some serious colour on it though, rear pads lasted 9300k's with one track day
