Oke, I am tiered, and finished with the 1125R exhaust. I would love to see a exhaust making more HP and Torque (-;

Here are the latest results fresh from the dyno.. I am now going to have weekend and a lot of beer.

Ok, i just have a few questions ...
1. is this the stock ecm with the latest flash?
2. I'm not seeing things, and that actually shows about 146hp right???
3. Are you measuring torque in ft lbs or nm?

I will post later on all the graphs..

No this is the race ECM. The stock ECM looses 2 HP and 2 NM of torque

Yes It shows 146 HP on the rear wheel, If you SAE correct it its, 142 HP on the rear wheel and 119 NM of torque on the rear wheel SAE corrected.

We measure NM on the rear wheel.

I will post ,monday, the graphs with SAE correction:

1. Stock ecm no reflash
2. Stock ECM latest reflash
3. Race ECM.

My beer is getting warm now later too you all and have a nice weekend.

Thanks for that, XB9, I've saved your website and will have a look through it. The "no programming required" and "not rocket science" means I might be qualified to have a go at it!

MMhhh, I forgot to swap the 09 flash ECM and make a dynorun with the latest mods.

I do that when i got my bike back, and also install the bone stock exhaust to show the difference.

The graphs I have are the Race ECM Redline 141.4 HP and 119 NM of torque SAE corrected on the rear wheel versus the stock 08 ECM.

139 HP and 116 NM of torque SAE corrected on the rear wheel.

On the second graph you see the AF values. The Blue one is the stock ECM the red one the race.

Don't forget this is only testing data.

What surprised me is the amount of power on WOT the stock ECM with the old Flash is pulling. The 09 flash is not even coming close on WOT. I do some research later on the 2 flashes.

Hogs, Yes that's possible only my bike is at the weldingshop 250 KM from here for fabricating the exhaust?> I hope to get it back in 2 weeks. Then I will record the sound clips.

Speculating....Maybe because the ECM with the new flash hasn't adjusted yet?

My bike has DEFINITELY ABSOLUTELY lost a noticeable amount of power at wot with the latest flash. Unless there is something else going on that happened coincidentally with the latest flash download. (Unlikely, there are no codes, and no other symptoms)

It does seem to run a little better up to a bit past half throttle, and it is getting 5 to 10 better mpg, depending on riding conditions.

My bike is also a CA bike. Only mod is de-noid.

Sly, the people are working hard to make the final model to our wishes. As soon as I have more news I be back (-;

We just arrived back from being a few days in the south of France. We became the Dutch importer for the WAKAN motorcycle, and rode the bike in the mountains. Incredible bike, what a enormous torque.

Fresno, the difference is too big, I hate to say it but, bad programming is the reason.

Easyrider, is that to say that the 3rd flash has definitively smoothed things out, but at the cost of performance? If so, can you elaborate on the differences you've seen?

Not that I really want to hear it, but it would at least validate what my posterior is telling me.

Now I wish that I would have done a dyno run before I had the flash done to my bike. The dyno run that I had was 118hp and that was with the third flash.

A while back in this or a similar thread Anonymous said that the latest flash (third if I'm correct) only addressed lower rpm ranges and in no way altered the top end. I feel pretty sure he was talking about a "completely stock bike"

It seems as though if he is correct, and I assume he would not intentionally mislead us, that some of our alterations/changes we might have done may have changed the "total" overall running of the engines torque/rpm's and thusly the H.P. outputs.

Am I going wrong here?

I suppose if it were proven out to actually have decreased the output H.P. we could always get the old flash burned back and the previous problems we all had.

For my relatively stock bike it has never run better or made as much seat of the pants power all across the rpm spectrum. A total joy to ride.

And......my new muffler system is waiting in the wings for a programmer, soon as I hear, and the warranty to expire. Bob

Chevy, I was trying to remember who posted the dyno chart with the top end sort of trailing off rather than continuing smoothly to max power. I thought it might have been you. I posted similar results recently, superimposed on a pre-flash trace.

By seat-of-the-pants, my bike is much superior after the most recent flash, but the WOT dyno run shows a loss of over 7 HP and a noticeable drop-off in torque, especially above 7000 rpm.

I haven't decided what I am going to do about it yet. I don't want to go back to the old maps, as the bike is actually more satisfying to ride now - but I don't think there should be the loss of power.

Pre-flash vs post-flash. Only other change was a denoidectomy, with throttle linkage tied. Fourth and sixth gear runs.

I am curious if your has also had the solenoid removed. At first, I suspected that might have a bearing on the problem, but not so sure after others have reported power down on post-flash runs.

The bike had been a bit over 400 miles since the flash when it went on the dyno. AFV's were settled at 100F 105R. FWIW, the AFV's had settled out by the end of the second tank of gas following my flash. Immediately after the flash, AFV's had reset to 100F 100R, as a flash normally does. The TPS settings were good, but I reset them myself right after the flash.

My bike has run at 100F 105R ever since the de-noid, and had reset to that value very quickly after the flash.

Noid was removed on these dyno runs. Had k&n filter and exhaust tip mod. The two higher hp runs were on 93 gas and the three lower runs were with a fuel supplement. I was testing this fuel supplement for the university that I work for.

The flash was done to the bike three days before the dyno run and the AFV is still at 100 front and rear now.

One other thing, the bike was run in 3rd gear for the runs and was tied down really tight in the back to the point that the tire was deflecting over the roller. Looked like the tire was soft but I had checked the pressure the day before.

ChevyCummins... 118 HP sounds really bad, Hmmm makes me think twice on even getting a 1125...
As well as others only just getting a little over the 120 mark..

Seems this third flash improved the bugs ..But at the cost of Horse Power...If thats so...Thats just SUCKS...!

Maybe just keep the Old gal XB12R with the 100 I got. But then again theres another can almost ready for testing..Keeping fingers crossed there, Not mentioning any names

I'm sorry JP, I didn't word my question properly.
What was the mileage on the bike at the first dyno run, and what was the mileage on the bike at the second dyno run?
