my bike just got out of the shop for the fourth time due to clutch cover leak. They have replaced the whole assembly each time including the cover. O rings and plunger and everything factory said. This is getting old really fast and Im beginning to wonder how many times you can take the same piece apart without causing damage to engine blck threads. Oil leaks from weap hole on slave cylinder cover. The original cover was replaced with 09 model the first go round to no evail. What is up?
Mechanic doesn't even know what to do and isn't sure he's fixed it this time.

Funny you post this. I had the 09 clutch cover installed to fix the clutch slave problem and my oil leak went away for a while.

But just this weekend I noticed it's back.

Groan. I'll be keeping an eye on the clutch fluid level.

Check for leaks by pulling black end cap off. The new cover has the weap hole on the cap and they install it up instead of facing down on the original cover. Seems they just prolong the time it takes to notice it. Sneeky bastards.

Mine is leaking as well and has been updated under warranty to the latest improvements.

Frustrating, yes. Life altering, no.

Obviously, there still is a problem with a minority concerning this issue but I suggest we maintain a level of patience and correct communications to help resolve the matter instead of hindering it.

Buell will take care of it in the end. I'm very sure of this.
