I need info if the D and D
exhaust pipe decreases horsepower and can
I tune it to regain low end power.
Why doesn't come with a baffle inside?

Were all waiting for a powercomander type tuner to come out.

Baffles, ha, loud pipes save lives!

Power DECREASE? I doubt it. Mabie a tad below 3000k. But prob makes it up and then some on the high mid-and upper rpm.

I made a header and pipe my self, so I can vouch for the need of a tuner!!!

If u get it (power com) PLEASE I'm me, I've been waiting DESPERATELY!!!
I've used those things before and they kick!

There is a tuner, but it is set parameters.
What I need, as well as most of us, is adjustability.

There are other "software" out there, but they may danger the warranty.
When the warr expires, in 2010, ill do whatever.. Until then, a simple plug and play will do.

One of the guys at Latus HD put a D&D on his 1125R and then made a Dyno run with no HP improvement over stock (127HP). After removing the airbox and filter he made 138 RWHP. This is without any tuning.

This pipe is very loud pipe IMO.

There are also other options for tuning if you are willing to use ECM Spy and [redacted]software. You could easily make a percentage change to open loop and get the same effect as a power commander's at a fraction of the cost.

Power Commanders and similar piggy back controllers are really not all that affective if you are looking for the most out of your tuning. IMO

with last reflash and K&N bike made 12ft lbs. and 8 hp. keep in mind some if not most of it is the reflash. Also when first dynoed with the D&D it still made power. " I wont make a pipe if it wont make power, whats the point?" D&D. Dyno chart on D&D website is not up to date

I spoke w/ Power Commander recently & they have NO plans to make a unit. Direct Link said they are in the final testing stages on their unit & Latus has an adjustable unit in the works. No eta's from either but we're getting close!

As an older post I made stated, my dyno run with a D&D and a K&N netted me 137hp at the wheel. Now that was before the 3rd reflash and I don't imagine that it'd be much if any better than that.
