Greetings from the XB board kids.

Read this:

http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2008/Nov/081121fr.h tm

Here's the mindblower:

"It's been rumored for months that both former XBRR rider Jeremy McWilliams and Australian Garry McCoy will race Buells in '09 DMG/AMA action."

Here's a moment with McCoy on the 2 stroke Yamaha:

This is some cool stuff!

That group seems to have no clue how to organize a motorcycle series.

We won't know till the end of the year.

But, out of all the races I saw last year, Supersport, and FX provided the most interesting racing.

After seeing McWilliams run in the top 5 @ Daytona before the thing grenaded, It should be fun to see what he can do on something more reliable.

True that. I DVR all AMA races and those 2 you mentioned definitely are the best IMO also. Superbike is fun to watch as long as you like Mladin and Spies. Now superbike will be totally boring with Spies gone. Maybe Hayes will give Mladin a challenge of some sort. As far as the HP goes, lap times between the 600's and 1000's were not as much as you would think from bikes with 60+ HP difference. Who knows what will happen. It will be interesting.

I have no idea how the development will be on the new R1 but, "on paper" that thing seems to the bike to have.

I REALLY hope Ben and Josh can take something to Mat. I'm not counting out Hacking either as he was the guy that stuck the closest to Spies and Mladin at any point in the year. (the "Black Betty" chassis seemed to help him.

Regarding the class with the Buell's. I'm intrigued as to why they get to run the big motor and the Ducati will have to stick with the 898? Hmmm....

DMG will be striving to make the Sport Bike and Supersport grids as equitable as possible. How this parity is accomplished with 130-140 horsepower motorcycles racing against 600s making dramatically less power may be interesting, to say the least, to watch.

Well, all I have to say is that anyone riding a 600 shouldn't complain about the big twins. If the twins dominate, then race a freakin' twin. DUH!

That's sad putting twins aganst 600's.

But at least were finally getting more competive. 600's aren't nothing to take lightly.

Oh speaking of twins...
Go Nikky!!!a duc suits his riding style(I think)
