OK so i'm a XBer and i look out my window at work all day hoping to see any Buell. Well I seen one of you 1125 guys today. Wearing an half helmet. you know the nazi/WWII style ones. San Diego has a group of sport bike guys that wear these with the half skull lower face mask. IMO this looks retarded for a sport bike guy to wear. any of you the culprit?

Quite the coincidence you'd post this today (it wasn't me, although I AM from SanD: right now I'm about 14,000 km southwest of you).

In today's Melbourne newspaper is a rearview pic of a biker who's wearing the jacket of the locally notorious gang Bandidos -- and he was not only wearing the jacket and the lower skull mask, but riding a Buell Thunderbolt as well!

OMG, I thought to be in a bikie gang, the bike had to actually SAY H-D on it. Not in Oz, apparently. The Bandidos have been creating quite a crime wave here locally.

And one of our Hell's Angels shot down three people in broad daylight in the CBD (central business district) that will go down in the history of Melbourne. One was a Dutch backpacker (lived), one a local attorney (died), and the third a "dancer" (lived). Owning handguns is illegal here (except at gun clubs), so this crime took a bit of effort on the shooter's part.

Yep. Gun control stops gun violence.

<sigh>

HAHA Carbon: i always say that the dumba$$ that believe that are the same ones that believe that criminals should be given less time in prison. Who happen to be the same people that continually become more violent and end up killing. Gun laws only put the guns in criminals hands to cause more problems.

It's amazing how propaganda and lies, repeated enough times, will begin to make sense.

PLEASE... Do your OWN research as to whether or not gun control will increase or reduce violent crime rates.

California and Florida would be two perfectly good places to start looking, as would the UK.

Stop being marketed to.

In the US, The most common weapon to commit murder is a Blunt Object. The Second most commonly used weapon is a knife. Guns are third.

I say we out law blunt objects! :-)

I would prefer that criminals not use Buells as their mode of transportation though. So please if you are going to commit a violent crime, can you please pick up an old pan head with ape hangers and ride that. Thank you.

Well being that i live in california and am in Law enforcement.... We have some of the most strict gun laws in the country. I know that it does not work. Having a Felony record criminals can not have guns at all. BUT guess what they all do when we search them. So M1Combat... are you saying that gun laws stop criminals from having them???? Gun laws stop the people that don't do crimes from having guns not the ones that shouldn't have them.

I agree HITMAN

OOH yea Gun laws do not stop crimes from happening. The California Jails and Prisons are over crowded and the criminals only do 80% of time (if that) so they can make more room.

Humans are Humans....... We will commit murder with what ever is more readily available. A gun is only as dangerous as the monkey that has it in it's hand.

And before someone calls me a racist... I mean "monkey" as in it it easy to use... yes a monkey will pull the trigger just as easy as we can.
The key is training!
How many people spend thousands and thousands on guns and don't store or use them correctly. And on top of it say... I have been hunting my entire life... I can shoot. Ok thats fine. Spend 1/2 of what you spend on guns in training to use the "weapon you bought". You trained to drive a car a dangerous machine also.
I am willing to bet that a vast % of gun owners have never ever spent a dime on training.
Oh sh$t my cell just jumped off the desk again and tried to kill me......

The same training can apply to motorcycles as well to get this back into MC related topics. You can spend $$$ on exhausts and other performance add ons or you can spend $$$ on a racing school. I know which one will actually make you faster.
