Which upper triple tree did you use?
One picture has a silver upper clamp (tree)
and another picture has a black upper clamp?
I need some more info.....

Yup, Teach let me feel one this weekend! Thanks Teach! : )

I'll be adding this mod when my body finally gets the best of me...which is not too far in the future.

Honestly, if your not looking for it, you might miss the difference! Western Reserve did a true factory install...he had to point it out to me.

For those in wonder... it's the perfect sport touring position on an R and or if your on the downhill side of athletic. (No offense meant) That was my take on what it felt like.

We have two different set-ups. One is a modified CR triple clamp with the CR accessory bar and the other is a aftermarket triple clamp. Both need extended wiring, and some other things. We will ship you everything you need for the install. This is new for us and we have done installs with both systems and they both work great. Everyone that has sat on the bike has loved the new bar location. Most of the people have been in their 40's and 50's. They love the looks of the R, but many have back issues, so....

I will try to post better pictures on this thread. Some pictures are over 71 kb and I am still working on those.

The fairing is a race fairing kit from Stand Up Designs and needs a lot of work because there is no mounting system at the present. Also, the belly pan needs to be cut out for side stand clearance, as well as the stock muffler. But it will be awesome when it is completed!!! (Thanks Pete)

I have noticed that there are bosses on the engine that are threaded and there is a tab on the one foot peg bracket that can be used for mounting....

The fairing will be painted black and it will really diminish the impact of the pods.

We are trying hard to come up with some stuff to help Buell owners customize or personalize their bikes. I am hoping that Buell comes out with some of this stuff, because Buell quality is so good and it is so difficult to approach that level on the outside... We want to be a proactive Buell dealership and are looking for new ways to meet the needs of our Buell customers.

Teach, you guys need top do one with Convertibars and Trojan's upper triple tree.

http://www.convertibars.com/ProductsBike.cfm?Actio n=Add&ProductID=&rebuildStruct=1&CategoryID=12&Bik eYear=2008&MakeID=68&ModelID=290&btnSubmit=+Next+S tep!+

I know it's not all Buell, but Neil (ccryder) has the right idea in my opinion. Just needs a clean upper triple tree to complete the kit.

You are correct, wish I had the $'s for that upper triple clamp.

Being able to adjust all the parameters of the bar is VERY nice. No more complaints about this drop, that angle or, that pull-back. It took me 10-12 extended rides to get it just right.

I could go higher and further back if I extended the harness on the LH control group.

Later.

The riding position on Teach' bike is awesome! For those of us with not so good backs......... spot on I see this in my very near future.

I agree with you on changing the top triple for the convertabars, for a cleaner look. Of course, more expense.

It is nice to have several directions for people to go....
