hi, does anyone know roughly how many hours it takes to completely tear down and put back together an 1125r?
Thats what has to be done to mine after i wrecked it, because of frame and swingarm damage, they started on it today, so any ideas on when i should get it back?...
I've been bikeless for 2 months now and am REALLY anxious to get it back..

THANX ALOT,
Jake

The amount of time it takes to do the work and the amount of time it takes the dealership to complete the job are totally unrelated.

I would not be surprised if you have another two months of waiting.

If you're lucky- it will be sooner. You are walking a thin line here... be proactive in contacting the dealership about progress, but be very careful not to "pester" them- many service dept's will actually work slower if they feel "pressured". It's ridiculous but true.

Slam a double-shot of patience- it'll do you good.

+1 and then some RBJ.
Most of the needed parts should show up quickly.
You might wait a week for an o-ring tho, so hang in there.

Mine was down for a month and I took a few demo rides to ease the pain.
