Anybody had their starter button stick? I turned on my key last night and it started cranking over on it's own. Turned the key off, back on, same thing. Turned it off again, hit the starter button, then turned the key back on again, no auto-start. Had me worried for a few seconds there, but I'm wondering if it's happened to anyone else.

That's why we roll to a stop and park in "N"...always! Ya just never know who is going to be playing with the keys whilst yer away?

This is the first on this one that I've heard of!

I'd monitor this and once your season is over, have the dealer really investigate what has caused such a weird event.

Keep her in N......and its gotta be something simple. Good luck and let us know your resolve.

It was in neutral (always park it there) and I'm thinking it was just the little yellow button got stuck in. I hadn't touched it for 8 1/2 hours and I know it wasn't pushed in when I parked it in the afternoon. I don't know why it would have been in though. There's security all over the place and we don't have many parking lot incidents where I work. I've heard of only one attempted break-in in the last 6 months and it was a car, none of the bikes were messed with and I'm thinking there were probably 10-15 bikes on the lot that night.

D_Adams, The same thing happened when I test rode a demo 1125 at a dealership. They figured out it was the battery. They swapped it out and it stopped. Check yours to see if it is charged. Do you keep it on a battery tender?
