I am looking for anything that will help protect my 1125r while doing track day. I thought that maybe a set of lowers or something would help with a lowside or something. I already have a set of Dark Horse Moto front and rear sliders.

I am planning on doing atleast 4-6 track days next year. Seeing as how my bike is only a few months old I need to keep it in good shape(not paid for). Plus I commute back and forth to work in the summer months.

I would like to have an XB for a track bike. I found a really nice bike that is completly set up and seems to be a killer price. But I don't have the money for two bikes.

Any suggestions or comments would be great.

Cost of the plastic will probably be more than the repair costs on a non-catestrophic track incident. Pods are only $60. Sliders are good protection for the swingarm and forks. Maybe invest in some barend sliders from Dark Horse Moto.
