Thanks to Teach and the gang at WR HD-Buell for the hospitality and welcome, as well as the presenters. Good info in a casual environment = enhanced learning opportunities. I wish my local dealer was stocked and into Buells like your team. You obviously have great support from the owners.
...and you HAVE to post photos of Fred the dog doing his "scratch me HEEEERE" pose!!

I owe a debt of gratitude to Mark and the rest of the technical team at WR for prototyping and perfecting the raised handlebar modification.

Although the 1125R is a perfect bike for me, the touring handlebar setup will really enhance my riding comfort and make the 1125R a "long distance" touring bike.

Also, thanks very much for allowing my dog "Fred" to participate in what turned out to be a great afternoon.

Was really great seeing some of my old friends, and making some new ones.
Thanks Teach and WRHD for allowing me to help out with the presentations, I really enjoyed it. Really a top notch Buell Dealer, we're lucky to have them here in NE Ohio.

EVENT WRAP-UP REPORT!!

I just wanted to say "Thank You" for all of our participants and for the very positive scores on the event surveys.

We are already thinking about the spring, when we will have a day-long event, demo rides, dyno runs, a short poker run, and the presentations will all be done in a small group setting which will encourage interaction between the participants and the topic facilitators. We are hoping for factory support on this and there are indicators that suggest there will be. The day will end with a barbeque and a band....

A special thanks to XB9 and Slypiranna for their efforts! These guys are great!!

Thanks,
Jim

Teach, I know I missed out, and wish I would have been feeling better since you folks are less than two hours from my house. However, I was hoping that perhaps the "special" information shared at the event may also bleed over to a community sharing here on BadWeb. Is that also possible?

Thanks Teach but you all had it in the bag from the get go! Your dealership has found the recipe! The owner's involvement was above a humble experience to us all. Great people.

Those present were eager to communicate and share...BadWeb was spoken with great vigor and involvement. Awesome WR!

We all felt welcomed and at ease within your awesome dealership...it was well worth the trip! X2, in a heartbeat.

Funny thing...most of our little involvement, is comprised of the HD riders/lovers!?...Yes, I was the only Buell'r among "us" but we all felt comfortable and open in sharing what we have in common and more importantly, how we differ and can still benefit by working together.

This is what moved me the most. We've been to 15+ dealerships and this is the first time HD/Buell and even the Japanese, Euro guys and gals...have blended into one. It was cool to experience.

Our team's #1 and only Model, Mandy, even won a drawing that I missed...I was later told that she ran right to a dark purple, leather jacket and pants...questioning who had a credit card to make up the difference!? LOL! We all promised her a trip back. She blew that money, non the less and smiled all the way home!

Keep us up to date for the next go around...WE are in!

Pics don't do this dealership justice. It's one of the most unique I've been in up and down the East Coast of the States! Great stock and great atmosphere...Pro Buell w/a unique Harley flair. Works well from a first time visitor!

Ponti1 has a great point!

I cannot think of anyone better than Xb9 to grab all that data and post a reflection point concerning this event!

Honestly, our little group was (not so) fashionably late...many issues with a trailer and drama. We missed the majority of it all but still, Xb9 and all those present...made a home run on all Buell's latest and greatest along with smokin' tuning!

What I understood, was enlightening! What I didn't understand, was explained to me in great detail so that I did get it! What I heard was in the works was encouraging!

Great day and the after dinner was super!

Thanks again Western Reserve! You all made us feel right at home!

You all need to open a bed and breakfast! I might have to move the gang to Mentor! : )
