noo Brent i am experimenting with a new front end that is unfortunetly going to produce to much pressure in the airbox but i hope will help with cooling off the engine compartment.
BUT i like where you are going with that train of thought.

Does this front end have a cog belt attached to it, or does it bolt to the exhaust??? How much pressure you think this new front end will build in the airbox? 8psi? 10psi? 16psi? Sounds like a fun project....

For a quick & dirty lowering of CR you can use thicker head gaskets. As for pistons, you can buy blanks and machine them to whatever spec. you want. Call Bob Johnson at J.E.T., Westerly RI [BadWeb sponsor].

NB. boosting ANY motor without including intercooling will bring the risk of detonation and resulting piston failure, rod bearing failure - a whole world of expensive mechanical hurt.
