I talked to them about making a set of turn outs to fit the stock muffler, so the back wheel and brake would stay cleaner. We'll see if they come out with something.

Looks nice, but I really don't want to screw around with a muffler I have to repack. Any thoughts on this? Previous experience?

The 1125r HMF exhaust I saw was actually making contact with the swingarm. I wonder if they're all like that?!?

It sounded good though!

I can't tell from the pic... is it 2 pipes running all the way to the can?

I believe they join together at the very front of the bottom of the motor, so there is just one pipe along the bottom of the bike and into the can.

Xb9, If you find someone who will make something for the stock muffler I want in on that since you talked me out of an aftermarket muffler for the time being.

I've been trying to get a hold of a stocker to do some research on but it seems they are hard to find.

I still haven't seen an aftermarket exhaust that doesn't leave the underside of the bike looking naked. If the stock "bubble" is done away with by an aftermarket exhaust, it seems to me that some sort of chin fairing needs to be added to fill that void.... Just my $.02

+1 skylerxb

i am not replacing my muffler with anything thats currently available, all of them leave the bottom to bare - id rather wait until someone modifies the factory pipe - hopefully someone does by this winter so i wont go crazy having it down

Im really happy with my modded stock pipe. I performed basically the same mod as Chevycummins with fantastic results. I get to keep the stock look with an improved exit (3" black turnout) but with a much improved sound.... Cant go wrong there!

What is done to the stock muffler for this mod? I've been looking but I can't find any thread for it.

I actually like the look of this pipe. Any one know what type of performance gains this pipe gives.

This pipe looks almost identical to a Jardine. I a currently trying to mod a XB chinfairing to go on my 1125 for when my Jardine comes in if it turns out alright I will post pictures and directions. If it turns out bad (which knowing my luck it will) I will also let you know not to try it.

This exhaust is louder than the Jardine. Just a heads up.
