You can finally get a 1125R belly pan without a race lic. You can also get just the upper fairing to protect your stock parts during track days.

and for XBs

mmm.. airtech... i dont think ive ever heard anything good about them... customer service OR product quality. there has been many discussions about them and their products on the old school buell board. nobody was happy with them. i would probably research the badweb forums before buying from them.

Because of the FEDERAL regulations and many states, NOTHING that will push emissions outside of Federally mandated limits are going to be sold to non-licensed riders any longer. It will be a boon to the aftermarket but when you look at the GIANT ($2M+) lawsuit that Powercommander lost against CAL EPA, it is just NOT worthwhile for any manufacturer to let themselves get so vulnerable.

The other stuff - swingarms, bodywork, suspension... stuff like that, I'm betting we'll see in the upcoming catalogs available for purchase by the average Joe (ok, Jane too).

I'm wondering how many people have sent Gunter some $$ for the ECMSpy to make it worth his while?

I hear a lot of people "wishing" - but how many have sent in some money after they'd tried out ECMSpy? I mean, love only gets you so far in this game.

The collaborative time spent on that software had to be up there. Maybe some people don't realize how time intensive software development really is. I've looked at the Palm version source code with the thought of converting it to a PC version and keeping it updated with the newer MY's, but I think I would have to quit my job and work on it full time to get it done and keep up with it.

Maybe we should organize a donation pot?
Ask Gunter how much he would want to make it work with the 1125R (and newer XBs).
I'd be willing to fork over some serious coin for it. A PC3 costs around $300. Consider that you don't have to buy one and go through the trouble of adding it in and you also get a lot of other cool features / abilities to tweak your ride. What's that worth? More than a PC3 I'd say.

Tony(Pizzaboy), I was one of those on the "Old school board" that bought and installed a full fairing and Manta seat/tail section on my M2 and was quite satisfied with Airtech's fine quality and customer service. You must have missed my posts just being a forum member 5 months. Please do not make a blanket statement like that without getting some input first. Some others have been well pleased as well as many pro stock bike and LSR riders and owners. Check out their website for all the well satisfied buyers. Bob
