For those that have the CR model...

How well was the headlight designed/work?
I leave for work well before the sun comes out to play, I need to be able to see.

I've had bikes that the headlight lighting seemed to be an afterthought!

Thanks.

Mike

I think there is some problem with adjustment on the low beam. Try this. Turn on the high beam. I've been running mine w/ the brights on all week and have not had one single person flash at me. Visibility is good on high, and if it doesn't bother the other drivers, that looks like a temporary solution. Next trip to the H/D store I'm gonna ask them about adjustments.

Better than the XB12R. I adjusted the CR's up a little. Better for low beam. But I think a little to high for high beam at night. Gonna adjust back down a hair. Had the CR on the street at night and adjusted the low beam were I thought I was comfortable with. Most of the time I ride with low beams on.

P,
The adjustment bolt is located towards bottom back of the light housing, 5/16" open end wrench works just fine.
How often ur cooling fans on ?

C,

Seems like they're on most of the time. My commute is at about 35-50 mph, and the temp is staying between 175-190, if I get stopped at a light for a long time. I'm not sure that I've ever seen 190.

You?

Rob
