Hi,
I remember that a couple of months ago that there was some discussion about putting the 1125CR handlebars on the 2008 1125R. I can't seem to find the post any more. Can someone tell me whether I can put these handlebars and cable sets:

on my 2008 1125R? Thanks!

You would need the CR upper triple clamp and the longer cables/hoses.

Then you would need to make sure they cleared the fairing.

It's more than that. I was just at Liberty's demo day and examined the bikes (r & cr) side by side. The cr's ignition key is integrated into the headlight nacelle and the r's key is integrated into the triple clamp itself. There may be other differences hidden below the gauges that I couldn't see. The centers and diameters appear to be identical though. A little ingenuity and some machining and it could be made to work. It's not a direct parts bin swap though. Not as important but another factor is the cosmetic difference. The cr is black and the r is grey and the cr of course, has "cr" written on it.
