How much different is the 1125r compared to the XB's where mounting is concerned?

The reason im asking is because i want to convert my bike to a chopper.

I found a frame that is designed for a straight up swap with all stock parts but its for the XB's.

Please don't flame me for wanting to chop my 1125r. Ill still have all the stock parts and i may convert it back someday. This is just for a winter project.

I can't help you with the engine info. I just wanted to say that I don't knock anyone for what they do to their bikes. I, like you and everyone else, has an idea of what their own perfect bike should be or look like. We all make changes and mods here and there until we get it like we want it. Let 'er rip.

I'm a hard core Buell fan but I like many bikes. I just finished building a 1975 honda cb550 rigid chop. My '07 winter project.

Are you keeping the pods on your chop? I'm very interested in your idea. Please post pics of the progress and when you get it built if you can.

The engine mounts and transmission are totally different. You'd need a custom frame.
