Just installed the D&D slip-on & LOVE the noise but the idle is suffering due to lack of unavailable tuner. The shop I'm dealing w/ claims NO engine harm will come out of this until tuners hit the market. thoughts???

word on the street is that is correct. the only thing that may suffer damage is the amount of sleep your neighbors get and your hearing.

Had mine on for 6 months now and nothing is harmed from what I can tell.

Also, have you had the latest ECM update programmed in? It will apparently smooth out some of the low rpm issues....and may help with your idling. (worth a shot)

Yes, I had the update & it helped slightly. After warm up she leans out some & starts the irratic idle. But man o man once on the pipe this machine is RUTHLESS!!! Eric for president!!!!!!!!!!
