If you ask the Pirelli web site what tires to use on the 1125r, it pretty much recommends the entire sport tire line *except* the OEM Corsa III.

Nice!

I am ready to replace mine at 4800 and I think im going with the diablo set instead of the corsa 3.The corsa three is said to be more of a track tire. The Diablo tire seems to be more of street tire according to the website. The diablo set is 70 dollars cheaper.

We had a special deal here at the beginning of the summer where a set of diablo tires was $200.

I bought 5 sets, and I've been running that tire a lot. I've been very happy with it on the 1125r.

I've also run Diablo Rosso, Dunlop Qualifiers, and of course, the Corsa III.

The Diablo is probably my favorite tire of all of them for the street. Good grip and as good mileage (I get just over 2,000 of sporting rides out of them) as any of the tires I've tried.

The front tire wears out on the sides long before it looks worn. It will cause the bars to shake in a corner, even though there's more than half the tire's tread left. So, I switch front and rear at the same time. You can probably sell it to a squid for $30 after you take it off.

If you aren't buying them as pairs, look at the cost difference of using a Diablo rear with a Corsa III front -- it probably isn't much. That works really well, too, and they wear about the same (for me). I like that extra sticky Corsa III up front.
