Diablo is back in the shop again. This makes 3 visits to the shop since April. This time her battery was completely dead. I'm not charging her this time, I want it fixed or replaced. I know there has been threads about battery problems, anybody needed a replace?

Are any SE Wisc Buellers riding up to Milwaukee for the 105th?

Mine got replaced when they did the recall. I didn't know that it was bad, but the shop said it was.

1125chick, My battery went dead and it was not the batteries fault. The bike had a draw that was killing it. If the dealer finds nothing wrong PM me and I will see if I can help.

The dealer told me that they had to charge mine the day I took delivery. I thought they should have replaced it at that point.

I always put it on the tender when I'm not riding, but when it went in for its first service I left the bike with them for a few days to investigate all the problems everyone else is having. When I went in to pick it up, battery was dead.

They gave me a new one at that point. I haven't put it on the tender ever since and it's never gone dead again. Sometimes it sits for 3 or 4 days in between rides.

Well this Eastern NC Bueller will be riding up on my "H-D's other liquid bike" (V-Rod). I haven't seen many 1125R's down here in NC, so it would be cool to see some at the 105th.

I should be in the area sometime late this Sunday,

I'll be picking up my new bike on Saturday so I will be partaking in the festivities. I would be no matter what but at least it will be with the 1125. Anyone going to Lynyrd Skynyrd Wednesday at Washington County Fair Park?

Brankin, So standing in my garage and looking at my 1125R doesn't count?

Well this is the second full weekend my bike has been in the shop since I bought it. As any other Wisconsiner's know, the weather we get in the summer is hit or miss for riding so I am a particularly unhappy camper. Especially hard when I see everybody else out on the road riding with the SEG's on their faces on lesser bikes. Called Harley this morning and the guy said, "Well I know he was on with tech support this morning and had it on the charger." I am now regretting that I traded in my XB which never had any problems except frequent tire replacement. Fun to ride or not, doesn't help if I never get to ride. Bummer...

Picked up my new 1125 last night. The second one. The first was delivered with a dead battery!!! Because it was after closing time the sales mgr told the remaining crew to get the other 1125 for me. It started and has been sitting on the tender all night.

I have to go in this morning for new paperwork and will ask about any battery recalls.

Called the owner today and he said the voltage regulator was out. Supposedly went to pick one up for me tonight and I should be able to pick up bike tomorrow. I hope I see Erik at the 105th. I've got an earful for him. Wish me luck!!

Buy another XB to ride when the 1125 is in the shop.

-sorry, I couldn't resist... it's the irony of the whole thing- the Harley rider who has an import to ride when the H-D ain't runnin'. Now the Rotax/Buell rider needs the H-D/Buell to ride because the "import" is down. Funny in an existential kind of way.
