Pretty high... I got glass chunks in mine from an MSF course conducted at a high school parking lot!

Getting it replaced is shockingly expensive... made me realize that bikes can be more expensive to maintain than cars.

Blackdog, just be thankful the shatty diaper wasn't still connected to that pin!

I picked up a welding rod stub not long ago. Never seen that before either. Either way it sucks the same.

Dude, I'd definitely plug that one. Obviously a VERY small hole, and the sharp point on that pin is unlikely to have significantly damaged the structure.

I once pulled a retracting car antenna out of a tire. At first i thought it was a long ass nail, till the thing got about 3ft long and still going.

Yeah it will , the coverage certainly helped me after bending both rims and ruining both tires , after hitting a pothole in a full lean cornering , they even replaced any questionable and related part's .

I once pulled a retracting car antenna out of a tire. At first i thought it was a long ass nail, till the thing got about 3ft long and still going.

When I worked at garage I saw all kinds of strange things making their way into tires.

Among the most notable were a house key which went in from the bigger end first, and a chunk of asphalt that got pushed through the tire.

Yes, a piece of the ROAD made the tire flat.
