The DDFI3 will try to adjust, but it won't get it 100% correct.

DDFI3 can only make global adjustments - that is, it can only raise and lower the entire fuel/spark curves together. It can't raise one section and lower another, which is what most aftermarket pipes would need.

Would you notice this? I have no idea.

So the ddfi3 will make some changes but will not fix it all.Thats what im trying to figure out if the fuel adapt would change .Ive also been told that the d&d has some really bad lean areas.

Im starting to think i will wait till a power commander will be available.

I just slipped mine on today, VERY happy with the sound, but I still have some very small exhaust leaks on the mid pipe where they slip up onto the headers. I guess I can hit up a parts store and see what they have that is exhaust specific for gasket material, etc. For the time being I used high temp RTV to cut back on it. Any ideas?

Adoogie3- I dont have the time to transfer my dyno readings to this forum. I thought I answered your question when I said our bikes ran very lean below 5000rpm. The ECM will not make the changes needed to make a aftermarket piperun great. You'll need to "tune" it somehow. Buell has fully programmable ECMs. But if you dont race I dont know how you can get one. But it seems D&D pipes are not killing 1125s either so take the info for what it is...
