FINALLY! I saw an 1125R on the road today at 182nd and Crenshaw, in Torrance CA at about 6:45 PM. I was going the other way on my Lightning. OK, not significant to most of you, but until today, I only saw them on the dealership floor! Given the number of bikes I see, I have been waiting to see an 1125R on the road. | ||

i've been wanting to see one in the wild. haven't had the chance yet. i have been hands on with a few at the dealer, including a very, very awe inspiring test ride. i will have one in a few weeks. | ||

I rarely see any Buells at all. Came home from getting the 5th gear oil jet recall last Saturday and saw one at the dealership (nice to meet you, Dano_12s!)and two others on the road! | ||

Ponti1,good meeting you also.Went up to dealer Sat. for the reflash,then they said to come back Mon. for the 5th gear work.Good people @Highland.I may try to get to Beaverun Thurs.for Vintage race,looks like a good time. | ||

I'm a SoCal rider here....never seen another on the road still to this day. I even went to the local "bike night".......with over a hundred bikes in attendance, I was the ONLY Buell. (So yeah, the 1125 stood out like a sore thumb)  | ||

There is usually an update in Storm Fronts under the Southern California section. If you email Al Lighton at American Sport Bike he can add you to the email list. Rides are usually first Sunday ever odd month and meetings are every even month at Knollwoods BBQ. Al should be on his way to Laguna Seca so he will probably not respond till after the weekend if you email him. | ||

I had one go by my house out in the country. My 1125r was in my driveway and the guy on the one going by took a long look at my bike as he went by. Thought he might come back around but did not. The next time my bike was at the dealer the buell mechanic asked me where I live and I found out that was him that went by my house on a customer bike. He sees me plenty at the dealer, thats why he kept going! |
