Am I the only one with a perfectly functioning 1125? I just had the remap done (a little leery because it ran good original, just stalled at idle when 190+ deg. ) now it is perfection. No stutters, no stalls. I will admit, I looked and looked for things to hate. Now all that is left to hate is the buell racing parts program. F U to whoever wont let us street riders get a good ECU. Some one will hack it and we will have our day in the sun. Viva la revolution.

No you arent the only one. I have one also and no reflash done. I like the way it runs just the way it is. Told the dealer not to touch the ecm during the recall.

11,302 miles.
She's a smart one now.
Now that I can hit learn mode anytime, she'll always be on her best behavior.
No complaints, best/most fun machine I've ever owned.

hot can only begin to describe this bike. on a cool night around 75 or less i loved it. any hotter than that this bike was unbearable 210-220 degrees just drove me crazy. the cluster is junk everytime i washed the bike my turn signal would stay on for days and not turn off. i had the ecm reflash done with still having hard start problems numerous times having to push the bike to give the starter some help. i couldn't get a service manual and as far as parts it took my buell dealer 3 weeks to get a oil filter. i've sold my bike and switched over to the japan side and haven't looked back yet. for you guys that are having fun enjoy this bike just wasn't for me!

I'm one of the lucky ones, with only a couple small things that I think are just part of the experience. With the exception of the boiling gas, this machine is perfect : )

I have to admit, I feel a little guilty, my street rod pickup hasn't even been touched in 6 months...

Only one problem here (maybe two), and it's not even a big one. On cold starts, the bike dies. Still don't know why, but it's not that big of a deal.

Problem #2 would be the fact that I think I'm losing power somewhere, because it seems I'm the only one that can't power-wheelie in 2nd.

Great bike though! I love her!

Eagle1 - at almost 2000 ft, elevation is robbing you of HP.
At 5000 ft, I don't have to worry about any surprises.
Still an awesomely powerful bike...

At sea level I almost looped it.

Minor woes here, nothing compared to some. I also am debating having the reflash done because "Diablo" runs great as is. This is my second Buell and they have both exceeded my expectations. Despite some minor burns on my thighs at 202F, most of the crap for me has been rider error. Finally something hot between my legs that doesn't ask for anything in return......

Michelle, you one funny girl! "Finally something hot between my legs that doesn't ask for anything in return...... " If you think your 25r doesn't ask for anything in return, you are not listening carefully enough!!!

THink about it.

I'm waiting to buy my 1125r, impatiently I should add. I've been reading posts on here for months now about the 25r and for a bike that is a brand new design and build in my opinion, it really doesn't have that many problems.

I've had my share of Jap bikes. They are mostly reliable and sound. You have to figure though that those bikes have been built pretty much the same for a number of years and most or all of the "bugs" have been worked out.

I think once Buell works the bugs out of the 25r it's going to be a force to be reckoned with.

I think that the folks on this forum may have all the bugs figured out before Buell does. My hat goes off to all of the fellow Buellers on here for not only taking the time to fix the problems with your bikes but also sharing that info with the rest of us.

USA BABY!!
