Anyone know of any race plastics out on the market right now? I know that Trojan Horse has the full plastics "race" kit, but anywhere in the states have it yet? I need to get a second set of plastics for the track next summer. I want two sets in case I loop at the track I dont have to run around on the streets with busted plastics.

Also, has anyone taken theirs to the track? Im just doing track days (not any big races) and I was wondering how it does with heat, any problems anyones had?

I took mine to Heartland Park Topeka earlier this spring. Dang, I like that track...its a good one to put the 1125R's ability to use.

I brought a fan to put on the bike between sessions. I don't have a generator, but the people next to me let me plug in.

Have fun!

Awesome, thats where I will be riding next summer. I live in Lenexa KS so that only like a 45 min. drive for me. Ive been reading a lot on running at the track...and again ill be doing it light..just track days. Im just sick of going to Arkansas for twisties and getting in trouble on the streets...Im still contemplating buying a seperate bike for the track but im not sure yet.

Also, you likely still have the stock brake pads on, which should be fine for your first track day, but I found they got pretty glazed over after one track day and didn't work as well. I switched to the Nissin 2015 Race Pads and they are much better. They are expensive (~170 bucks) but are probably worth it. I picked mine up from Josh Cox at Cycle Connection Buell in Joplin, MO.

Other then that this bike is pretty much track day ready!

Track days are fun
Had no issues with heat, but it was only in the low 70's
