I was thinking of using some krylon fusion on my bike. Nothing serious yet but little things like the belt guard and the rear fender thingie over the rear tire.

Eventualy i want to do the body. Krylon fusion sticks well to plastics as long as its clean and there is no silicone inside the plastic. Buell uses some kind of gel formed plastic that i dont know anything about.
My question is: What the heck is it made of?

Also Krylon Fusion does not play well with other paints. It has to be clean and bare plastic.

Another question. That little plastic piece on the side is breaking down do to the heat from the exhaust. Looks really bad.
Will the high temp paint for grills help at all on this thing? or should i just remove it?

DO NOT USE KRYLON/spray paint. It will stick, but ends up fading badly/patchy in the sun. Go to lowes or Home depot, rent a good paint gun, get some good paint...
