I am the person responsible for the rumor of a second reflash. The dealership I bought by 11 from is no longer a Buell dealer so, I had to go to a new shop. I had the tranny recall done. When I picked my bike up they told me they also did the "new" reflash. The # was 0504 not 0502. I did verify this to be a new # and was sure it was new as told by that shop. After some concern I called the dealer to find that it was the old flash but had a new # and not sure why other than they said they had got it the same night I dropped off my bike. I will take full blame for this rumor! Sorry Aj |

thats weird ....when i booked mine in for the gearbox recall the dealer told me they will do the new reflash...
i told them i didnt want the reflash as my bike is running fine and heaps of people are reporting it making things worse ...id just wait for the next one...
they told me no this is a new one ....a second reflash .. |

Dealer will not force the reflash if one is happy with the current config? Just wondering what will happen when I go in for the gearbox recall...

Then get it done and report the flash number...
AND post it on the learning thread too! PLEASE...as its hard to keep up with all the different topics! mm |

I don't know which flash crashstp did on my bike but heres what I've noticed different:
!. At first ran hotter. I did the 3rd gear 45 MPH and it's better now (I think)
2. Makes more power for sure!. No power flux in 1 and 2 gear
My average MPG is up! not a lot but in highway yesterday hit like 47 avg.
Bob may want to elaborate maybe I have no Idea the flash numbers. |
