your new here, huh? : )

If you read down the post most 1125R owners report the bike continues to smooth out during the break-in period

Dig into the achieves and congratulations on your new bike.

Yup, it will smooth out with the more miles you get on it. I have 3420 on mine now (only had it almost 2 weeks now) and it runs smoother than ever.

New to the 1125, had a xb12scg but lowsided earlier in the summer resulted in 30 stiches in the knee and a new bike. kind of bitter sweet.

At 5000 miles I am loving mine. Best tip I can give a new owner: Buy a battery tender and install the pigtail. Ensure the terminal bolts are tight (check these even if you don't install the tender). Put a good initializing charge on the battery, then use the tender periodically to maintain it.

My bike will surge more if I let the battery get down. Everything else works better with a full charge also.

Enjoy the bike. It's a rocket ship... : )

But now it sits for weeks while he goes off to Bragg for training.Great guy, that Nate.I scored a new set of Pilot Powers off him today for my X1 too.

Best of luck to you Nate!
