This is a pretty nice looking exhaust. I hope it is not as loud as the D&D.

Ya, dyno run would be interesting. I'd like to see what that longer run to the Y does. It pretty much has to be quieter than the D&D, that things almost a straight pipe with a megaphone on the back. Not really my thing. I'll probably just stick with plan A and get the stock muffler and headers coated unless this puts up some monster numbers. Then I might have to spring for a carbon one.

I was looking to see if V&H was considering a pipe for the 11quad-

They recently came out with their indy race pipe design for the v-rod and that pipe sounds fantastic, hopefully they'll extend the indy race program to the "other" liquid cooled cousin.

hopefully those "backpressure rings" are still compatible:P

Looks like it could be loud enough to wake the dead.

Not that loud and has a real nice sound to it, I think the D&D that are on the xb bikes are louder,
I also gained low rpm power and five hp on top

Don't like the cannister on the Jardine, but like the design of the pipes. Definately don't like the look of that little shorty megaphone, reminds me of an old bicycle with an engine in it. I like the D&D design but not the noise. Why can't they baffle it so it's streetable? As long as there's no bad dips or stumbles I think I'd take one provided the sound was reasonable. The bike's already got decent power. Someone also mentioned the rad pods looked different in the picture for the Jardine pipe. They must be. My bike has only flat black at the intake(front of pod), the rest is gloss. That doesn't look like gloss at the bottom rear of the pod to me.

Interesting that the RT-5 is listed as an off-road pipe on their website.

I really like this pipe. I like the look of the D&D, but I'm not into the drag-pipe like sound it emits. This will hopefully be a little tamer.

I do have concerns that it isn't a "tuned" pipe, but rather an off-the-shelf muffler made to fit the 1125. Sometimes this works well and sometimes not (I believe the Jardine was one of the BEST pipes you could get for an XB9, while is was among the worst for an XB12).

I'm expecting only minimal gains from this pipe. As long as it doesn't create any holes in the curve, I'm good with it.

Anyone know if this pipe will suffer from the same "blow-myself-apart-itis" that the RT-1 had on the XBs?

This would be the pipe for me when I get my 1125CR - it looks (and IS) lighter than stock, and the CF end cap is just too cool.

Before we know it, American Sport Bike will have an 1125 exhaust shootout as well!
