Hey All,

I hadn't seen this specifically covered, yes I did a "search". Before I check for static sag and set rider sag I wanted to find out what the min to max adjustments ranges were (preload, rebound, compression).

Here's what I found on my 1125.
Front forks:
Preload - 14.75 turns
Rebound - 3.75 turns
Compression - 3.25 turns

Rear shock:
Preload - 1 (min) to 9 (max) Mine was set on 2.
Rebound - 3.9 turns
Compression - couldn't check because the 3mm ball end (long shaft section) turns in the fitting that goes into the handle. This long section has a splined end and is supposed to be pressed into the hex shaped adapter which then goes into the handle.

So if you happen to know what the compression min to max range is for the rear shock let me know.
Also, if you've checked, what is the front / rear static sag ?

Oh, and my bike has the battery drain issue when off (May 08 build with current flash).
Original battery was replaced, didn't hold a charge even when running. New battery charges up when running (12.7-9 volts) but drains down when off. Dealer is supposed to be checking with BMC.

Thanks

That's a common problem with the rear compression setting tool. A small tack weld fixes it.

I haven't checked out the limits of adjustment, but I have found that the book settings for my weight are too firm - but they are the best starting point. This is the first bike that I have had to run rear preload one step lighter than recommended. I run rebound 1/4 turn lighter and compression even more soft than that. I am 210 with gear.
