Doesn't it blink until it reaches 151?
I do not remember where the actual threshold was... or if there was one

Yeah,
It just blinks from whatever the temperature is until it reaches 150.

At 150 is stops blinking and goes solid.

I have seen it as cold as 40 degrees. But is always a number.

The newer ones flash "cold", or that's what it says in the Elect. Diag Manual.

Mine flashes the temperature until it gets to 151˚F

This stuff is from our own "Slypirana" .

Next time you call BMC-CS, ask them to check the production date.
My frame just says Nov 07, but they told me Nov6th was "the day".

The instrument in the left side of the fairing is a g-tech performance meter, which measures various performance variables such as horsepower/torque and others using an accelerometer. It will give 1/4 mile times and stuff like that based on acceleration. A really neat tool that has been in use for a few years by hot rodders and tuners. The one they have on this bike is the competition version.

This is just one place that sells them:

The red meter is of course, printed on the face of the meter, an air/fuel meter.

Just in case anyone is interested in where to get one or what it does.
