I have a street magic LED accent light system. Should I connect it to the front accessory plug? I heard it is not good to connect accessories to the battery.

The accy plug is only hot when the key is on. If you only want them on with the key, that would be best.

Citi, make sure you post some evening and night shots when you're finished.

"The accy plug is only hot when the key is on. If you only want them on with the key, that would be best. "

This is not 100% correct

I have my GPS plugged into the accessory plug and it only has power while the motor is running. I checked this with a voltmeter and just turning the key on, it is still "dead"

It is alos ECM controlled so that if your battery voltage drops to a certain level, the accessory plug is "turned off" so as not to add additional drain on the battery.
