Since I naturally have no patience, hence needing an 1125 (to be first), I have had her out enduring a number of weather/road conditions; tornado watch, rain, gale force winds, hot and sunny and potholes the size of craters. Only thing missing is snow which I'm not looking for. In a very short time I have had her out street riding, freeway flying, twisties and in heavy traffic. Besides 1 stall my first time out, which I think was my own fault due to adjusting to the hydraulic clutch, she has not failed me. I've already smoked some kid on a rice at the light which for a female rider is a guilty pleasure. She gently pulls me through tight corners like a smooth slow dance yet is ready to bite when the condition calls. Genuinely sorry to those of you having problems out there. I guess I've got lady luck on my side. Kudos to the guy who gave me the number for KBC. Tony in customer service sent me a complementary mirrored shield. Now I know which model fits my Buell Redline. Anyway, after reading all the complaints, just wanted to leave some positive feedback to keep the Buell spirit alive. I'm in love and find myself admiring her even when she's just sitting there...

Michelle,
Your 5th Buell seems to be doing you well. My 1125r is number seven. 3-S1’s,S3,XB9R,XB12X. Still have the S3. Other than killing the battery, most likely my fault, I have no issues. But draining my battery has got me to buy a Battery Tender and now I have pig tails on all my bikes, 4 Wheeler and J Deere Tractor. I have loved all my Buells for the last 12 years. Each one had a different character. The S1 was a Camaro with a Big Block. The S3 was the work horse. (44,000 miles in the first 3 years) The Firebolt was a Ferrari with a V-Twin. The Uly was just fun with bags to carry your stuff. I got fat and lazy with the Uly. I really missed the attack riding position of the Firebolt. The 1125r is like my old Firebolt, a surgical scalpel in the twisties. Just now it has an engine to humble many I4’s. Not only does the bike have a great engine, the brakes are equally grand. Also the Electronic Technology or better said, the cool Diagnostics. Checking codes, resetting the TPS, Clearing Fouled Plugs. All Cool Stuff! So now, I have to ride my Mountain Bike more so the “Attach Riding Position” is not so painful on the 1125r…..

Oh yea, that clutch was hard to get used also.
