Section 3, Engine Rotation, of the 1125r service manual DRAFT is now on H-Dnet. Been there for a couple weeks, sorry to be so slow to post...

search terms 1125r service manual, posted within the last month, should bring it right up.

I love that the search feature works now!

yep it is, just looked at it.

i watched the dvd on valve adjustments last night. what a mess. although i think there are a few steps that could easily be modified to speed things up.

i am also along the lines of thinking that you could check the back shims and if they were still good i doubt i would need to rotate the motor to check the front.

The service procedures seem to be a bit over the top sometimes.

My XB9R service manual instructs me to disconnect the brake line from the caliper in order to remove it. Clearly not necessary.

Well that depends on how far you want to remove it doesnt it?

Poll: How many, spotting a glitch in the manuals, have ever filled out that form in the front that is placed there for the sole purpose of moving "tribal information" into the proper channels?

I would but haven't been able to buy one yet.

Does anyone know about when they'll be available?

re: Poll:
I have not sent in any such card, I just pencil in any corrections I feel need noting. I've also never received anything in the mail from a vendor regarding a correction to a publication, but I have bought or received with a vehicle several manuals with corrective inserts put in between the pages noting errors.

The parts and owners manuals are out. I have not heard anything in sometime on the service manual.

It's been 6 months since the bike was released and I certainly hope it is soon.

Also, be mindful that the errors remain in the owners manual on www.buell.com after some 6 weeks so tread there with caution. There are a few bugs on the 1125R mini-site and the owners "Inside Track" areas as well.

I'll try to get some updates on the balance of the manuals.

Just bought my 1125, however I am up in canada and the inside track never let me in when I had my Firebolt.

Does anyone know if this has been remedied?

Edm - if you mean the website, I noticed just a couple days ago that I had access again. It kept kicking me out of the owners' area, but Court (Da Man!) contacted someone from the website group and it got fixed. Thanks Court!

Word from my service rep is, coolant drain procedures are in chapter 5...but that's not posted yet : (
