Wondering what you're all paying and with who. Military riders are really encouraged to respond.

Geico- $320/year- $500 deductible- full coverage- uninsured coverage (required in Oregon)- 41- clean record.

I was told that would drop about 40 bucks after the first year. We'll see...

I'm having a very hard time now (with the 1125R) retaining my clean record... so freekin much fun!

Cataract, I also live in Colo. Sprgs. and am 25. I use State Farm w/ only the 1125R on the policy.

$497.16 / yr. $500 deductible, full coverage. I am not paying for uninsured motorist coverage because my vehicle policy w/ farmers covers the uninsured motorist portion for the 1125R.

Helicon, holy crap. I didn't know we had any 1125R riders here in the Springs. We'll have to meet up and ride sometime. Weekend is looking good.

Anyways, Just got done doing some shopping on insurance.

Currently with Allstate my XB9SX is $425/yr.
1125R would be $700/yr. Now, something interesting. The vin I have is for an 1125R, but for some reason Allstate kept pulling up the XB12R/S with it. So I think the quote might be off due to the engine size showing 1203cc. I plan to recheck around May/June to see if it's about the same.

Now, I can live with $700 a year and being military I found I can keep my insurance FL even though I am stationed in CO as long as I keep my registration and home of record in FL. I asked my agent from Allstate on that one.

Freq, what insurance company was that with for the 1125R? Holy crap dude. Time to shop around.

Buell made a deal with one insurance company for lower rates but I can not get that in Taxachussetts.

That was though progressive, my current insurance company. I need to give them a call for a quote because it seems horrible off.
But no bike yet so no need to really dig into it

Freq, yeah. Progressive wanted $3000 a year from me.

Now, Sentry is the company Buell worked with. They were $635/yr. Not bad. Mind you, that was for CO. Now, for FL they wanted $1200/yr

I just switched from Geico to Sentry, barely half the premium for the same coverage. (Florida, full coverage, clean record)

Dairyland (part of Sentry group) is my insurer. Older person with clean record. $225 a year for full coverage ($1000 deductible) on 1125, and liability only on M2. Dairyland offers discounts for about 8 things of which I get: multiple vehicles, winter discount (whatever that means, because I'm insured for 12 mo.) and $45 for each bike being a BRAG member which most dealers give you when you buy a new Buell now. In Utah but in a city. Also, what Sheridan_bueller said+++, Bob

hmmm.. They don't write policies here in Texas, but instead USAA sends us to Progressive for motorcycles.

For my new Uly it's $370 a year with $500 deductible. For my '04 BMW RT, it's $208, for my wife's '04 BMW R it's $181 a year. Now you have me wondering what they would have charged me if I had bought the 1125R!

Bob, the winter discount is, as was told to me;

They don't expect a bike to be ridden during inclement weather so they give a discount and at the same time know there may be nice days to ride during the winter months in which case the coverage is there.

As was explained to me by Geico.

Johnny, (Sheridan_bueller), Kinda what I was thinking at least for these winter type states as your in also. I do try and catch the 40* plus days for a "warm up" ride for me and the bike. Thanks for the explanation.
