Just put my deposit down today, trading in the Firebolt... will my Buell tank bank and Firebolt tailbag fit the 1125R? | ||

Yes...I am still waiting for an 1125r tailbag (or something that doesn't have FIREBOLT in rainbow colors across it.) Hopefully soon and hopefully good looking (as much as a tailbag can be.) (Message edited by fresnobuell on March 04, 2008) | ||

I really liked the profile of the the Firebolt tailbag (the one that isn't expandable) & I thought about marking it out too--but common sense got the better of me. Patience is a virtue. Also, I think American Sport Bike might be coming out with a higher profile pillion cover that will allow more storage--hopefully something larger than the stock cover but not 'Busa-big. It will allow for at least cover attachment without the pillion seat stuffed in there, which will be an improvement already. Check with American Sport Bike to confirm. | ||

Fresno - The expandable tail bag doesn't have "Firebolt" written anywhere on it, just a blue Buell logo. I really like mine. | ||

I was referring to the one that is not expandable, XL1200. I believe the one EDM is talking about is discontinued, although you can still find them around. I have the expandable one for my S, and I like it too. Tith the lack of storage space it is almost a necessity on a long ride if you want to avoid the backpack route. | ||

I found a nice tail bag shaped like the cowl of the rear of the bike, I got a used seat from ebay took it apart and bolted the bag to it now I have a large tail bag that looks good, hold allot and is lockable. I just used a roll of film today and need to get it developed in the next few day and I will post them. Mike | ||

The one I have is expandable and just has a Buell oval logo patch. It will look fine on the 1125R I think, I just wanted to know if the cowl was the same size as a Firebolt thanks guys!
