Ok I am up in Canada and ride an '04 Firebolt. Looking at upgrading to either an 'o8 Bolt or an 1125. Obviously I would rather the 1125R, however all the problems listed on here (THE definitive resource for all things Buell) have me a little concerned as dealer support here is even worse than in the states (yes it is possible to be worse lol). There are 3 coming in to my local dealer which all have factory build dates in February or March. Does anyone know (maybe Court?) if the later builds have had refinements so as to correct these issues? |

Put things in perspective - start looking at all the other bikes out there and see if you find one that no one claims to have never had any problems..... It's a great bike.................... |

Still early to tell on mine, but just picked it up Thursday #1514 and almost 200 miles and no issues yet. |

Thanks guys keep the feedback coming!!! I have had 3 Buells now and am by far the got to guy in my city for Buell. I am not saying it is a bad bike by any means, and I also realize that because of the nature of Badweb, we see virtually every single problem on here...I just need some reassurance that more good ones are rolling out there than the ones that have had unfortunate setbacks! I am looking at a 6-7 THOUSAND dollar difference to trade my bike in so that is a ton of scratch to dole out.... |

Ed - Today I went riding in the low mountains just west of Boulder, CO. THE TWISTIES WERE AWESOME. I am so happy I got this bike. Every one of the 2600+ miles so far have been a gas BTW, mine's #154, delivered to my door Dec 18th. Zack |

3700 miles. Took delivery Dec 19. One issue.. replaced O2 sensor at about 2K miles which took 45 minutes wait at the dealer to attend to. Other than that, all (s)miles. I've said it before... and I'll say it again: Judging the quality of the 1125R by what's discussed on this board is like making decisions on the health of the human race by observing the doctors office. |

Edmbueller , I'm on my 5th new Buell. A 2008 Firebolt, I chickened out after being first on the waiting list of a 1125R. I think Zac is riding my bike. I'm glad it found a good home but am loving my 2nd 1200 Firebolt. |

Well, yes and no. The first one was supposed to be # 304, but 154 arrived before it. I think #304 is still at Sun, it arrived a couple of weeks later. Anyway - Thank you , thank you and thank you for backing out and letting me get Loretta. I am in your debt, sir. Z |

Good point Doerman! This is an awesome bike! Took, maybe an hour before it felt like a part of me as I tested its handling capabilities. I have to say, after work tonight, I hit some water pulling out of the drive and slid sideways a bit, the 1125 was too much fun as I came out of it. All grins here! P.S. Did that make any sense? |

Yeah Zac, just keep rubbing it in. I'm still running around this place on my XB9SX. Still a great bike, but I'm ready to add to my outdoor stable with an 1125R to run around this place on. Put up a better fight with the guy on the TL1000R. BRING IT! |
